If 75% of Americans visit a mall at least once a month, maybe the mall itself is the right place to advertise to them. Glimcher Real Estate needed help convincing its retail tenants to think beyond the traditional ad spaces and consider new ideas: ads on food court trays, sponsored play areas, etc.
Unlike consumers of TV, print, or outdoor advertising, shoppers at the mall are a captive audience - as this piece demonstrated well. We came up with an actual food court tray that had an informative booklet attached, and Glimcher tenants couldn't resist the message. (They probably read it over lunch.)
